A quick note: Intelligent use of resources.

Most of our trouble maker pets are not only sneaky but highly intelligent.  They have figured out how to be opportunistic and benefit during our moments of weakness.  While both Cosmo and Nemo are masters of this craft, the true Queen of this craft is our dear Frisby.  She showed cunning and skill this morning during a temporary moment of weakness by her lumbering "daddy."

Everyday whether it is EJ or more often me who wakes up earliest, our first chore is to feed the hoard.  Simply since they are the loudest and sleep in our bedroom the dogs get fed first.  Then cold, tired and in desperate need of a caffeine fix, I will stumble through the house to feed the rest of the hoard.  This is hard enough already as Cosmo loves to eat everyone else's food whilst tripping me up while I walk.  Paulie is often to confused to eat his breakfast and Jamie needs to be medicated.  Meanwhile, if allowed to follow me (she will bark incessantly if not), Frisby will dash from litterbox to litterbox trying to eat as many tootsie rolls as possible.  The main problem with this is the carnage and mess that it leaves.  In fact, it is almost worse to catch her ... then you have to clean her up her leavings.  In any case, it just makes my morning all the more difficult especially before any coffee.  Well my friends, today she took it to a whole new level.

You see we keep the food in separate plastic jugs:  1 for Frisby and Kitty, 1 for Paulie and Nemo, and 1 for Jamie (each are on different therapeutic diets ... and Cosmo gets wet food).  Well, today Frisby decided she needed extra food and what better then the fatty kidney diet (Jamie's food).  So while I stumbled out of Jamie's room (aka the guest bedroom), Frisby was shooed out as usual and then quickly looped back in for her moment of opportunity.  So as I started up the trusty K-cup machine, I heard a large crash.  Oh no!  The large tub of cat food was spilled all over the floor with the cap having fallen off during the fall.  This left some fairly large mountains of fatty cat food.  Well after stomping and making Frisby run away with a pelican mouth full of food and tail between her legs.  OYE... and I had to be at work early to look after 3 sick patients, call several owner's and in general get everything in order at the office!  So what could I do???  Well, swept up as much as possible, but several individual pieces were spread everywhere.  This could either a) clog our vacuum or take forever.....so

I called in the three man and one woman cleaning team of course.....

Gotta use your resources :)
